Lecture 6:30
As the number of patients seeking implant solutions increases. implant dentistry is rapidly changing. Implant connections that allow for a harmonious relationship between restorative components, bone and peri-implant gingiva have shown the potential to enhance final esthetic outcomes. In addition, immediate loading of complete and partially edentulous cases has become a well-established concept. Moreover, digital dentistry places the dental team in a unique position to control all aspects of implant therapy. This exciting presentation will focus on various aspects of the implant restorative process with a focus on recent technological advances. Topics will include diagnosis and treatment planning in the esthetic zone, immediacy, and “outside the box” solutions for intraoral scanning, 3D printing and guided surgery, as well as material selection for final restorations in single and multiple-unit cases. Emerging technologies that allow for a full arch complete digital workflow will also be discussed.
