The first step in determining the best treatment for you is to listen to you.
At the practices of Drs. Fugazzotto, Rost, and Brodsky, we believe the most important information regarding both your health needs and your desires is obtained from you! We perform a thorough examination beyond just looking at your “teeth and gums.” We assess the health of your muscles and your joints, determine the health of the bone and gum around your teeth and the presence or absence of gum pockets and gum disease, and evaluate the condition of your teeth. We will take any x-rays which are necessary to help with this examination.
If impressions of your teeth are needed, we utilize digital impression techniques. We do not place “gunk” in your mouth at any time.
We assess all of the hard and soft tissues in and around your mouth to determine whether or not we see any signs of precancerous or cancerous lesions, utilizing the latest technologies. Should we have any questions, we utilize the latest technologies to assess such areas.
We will ask you questions to help determine whether or not you have any clenching/grinding problems or any sleep disorders.
Finally, working with your restorative dentist, we will put together what we believe are the most appropriate treatment options to both address your oral health concerns and fulfill your desires.
